at Arcada, Jan-Magnus Janssonin aukio 1, Helsinki
This course will prepare students for professional education studies or work in Swedish in Finland, especially within the social and health care sector.
It includes
- 31 weeks of language education incl lunch
- 4 weeks of language practice at Folkhälsan unities
Summer break 19.6. – 30.7.2023
Prerequirements: No earlier knowledge of Swedish is required, but as the pace is intensive the students are expected to study actively also between classes.
Aim: Level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
A language test for students interested in professional education at the vocational institute Prakticum will be offered at the end of the course.
Price: This course is subsidized by Konstsamfundet and Stiftelsen Tre Smeder and therefore no study fee is required. The program can also be part of an integration plan.
